Posted on Apr 23 2025 - 10:34am

Troop 105 is heading back to Camp Resolute for the first time since Fall 2022 when we attended a council sponsored pioneering event and WON with our Chippewa kitchen design and build using lashings and spars.  We'll be sticking with this theme doing some pioneering scout craft with new jupe rope to put some camp furniture together to practice these lashing skills as well as some different methods for cooking outdoors. Register on the calendar here on the site today!

Cold, but fun weekend in New Hampshire

Posted on Feb 3 2025 - 3:32pm

We had a great weekend 1/31-2/2/2025 staying at Camp Bell in the staff cabins after a snowy arrival on Friday night.  Ice fishing on Manning Lake, ski/snowboard fun at Gunstock, and a stop into Alton Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee at the only ice runway in the contiguous United States.  We met with a pilot, Derick Jones who owns and operates Moco Aviation at Moultonborough Airport.  Mr. Jones flew in from Moultonborough, NH and helped us begin work on the Aviation merit badge with a full pre-flight checklist overview of his classic 1943 airplane that he fully restored himself.

WE PUT A HIGH VALUE ON OUR SCOUTS BEING PRESENT FOR SUMMER CAMP.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR INDIVIDUAL ADVANCEMENT AND FOR THE OVERALL CULTURE & GROWTH OF OUR TROOP.

  • EARLY BIRD FEE IS $550* PER SCOUT (TROOP 105'S COMMITTEE VOTED RECENTLY TO CONTRIBUTE $80 PER SCOUT TO OFFSET SOME COST AND HELP GET EVERYONE TO CAMP).

  • DEADLINE AT THIS EARLY BIRD PRICE IS REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT TO US BY CHECK MADE OUT TO 'TROOP 105 PEMBROKE' NO LATER THAN MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2025.
  • ONCE THE TROOP REGISTERS OUR SCOUTS COLLECTIVELY BY A COUNCIL DEADLINE A FEW DAYS LATER THESE BOYS ARE ELIGIBLE TO SIGN UP FOR MERIT BADGE COURSES.  WE WILL HANDLE THIS AT A TROOP MEETING IN EARLY FEBRUARY SO EACH SCOUT HAS THEIR CHOICES READY TO GO.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE THROUGH A FEW AVENUES TO HELP GET SCOUTS TO CAMP.

CONTACT TIM MEEHAN OR ELLIOTT GLASS - WE CAN HELP EXPLORE THESE OPTIONS TO GIVE EVERY SCOUT A CHANCE TO GET TO CAMP.
